Pre-needle loom manufactured by MIRA (Spain), with a nominal width of 400 cm and a working width of 380 cm, is designed to operate in a top-to-bottom configuration, performing the needling stroke from the top to the bottom of the material.
The machine incorporates needle boards with a density of 1,500 needles per linear metre, suitable for initial consolidation processes in non-woven fabric production lines, whilst also enabling the bonding of multiple layers of both non-woven and woven fabrics together. The machine execution is by a direct-drive motor, ensuring stable kinematics and precise mechanical response.
The striking action is carried out by a connecting-rod system, which ensures a controlled trajectory of the needle board and a constant impact frequency, optimising the penetration of the needles into the non-woven and/or woven fabrics.
