Rolled Fiber Pillows: A New Generation of Comfort and Durability
Rolled-fiber pillows represent a significant advancement in the manufacturing of sleep products and technical textiles. This type of fiber, processed using controlled rolling techniques, offers a more stable, uniform, and resilient internal structure than traditional pillows made with blown fibers.

The result is a higher-quality, more durable product with a consistent feel that enhances the end-user experience.

1. Rolled Fiber Technology
Rolled fibers are produced through a mechanical process of carding and aligning the fibers, which are then formed into overlapping layers. This internal architecture provides:Greater resilience: the pillow regains its original shape after being compressed.Volumetric stability: prevents clumping and deformation.Consistent feel: a uniform sensation across the entire surface.

Unlike blown fibers, which tend to shift and lose volume with use, rolled fibers maintain their structure for longer.

2. Technical Advantages Over Blown-Fiber Pillows
✔ Higher structural quality: Rolled fiber creates a more compact and stable core, resulting in a pillow with better performance and a longer lifespan.
✔ Superior durability for customers: The internal micro-coils better withstand daily compression, preventing loss of volume and extending the product’s lifespan.
✔ Consistent feel: The even distribution of the fibers eliminates hard or hollow spots, providing a more comfortable and uniform user experience.
✔ Manufactured with recycled and regenerated fibers: The process incorporates recycled polyester fibers, regenerated fibers, and sustainable blends, contributing to the circular economy and reducing environmental impact.
✔ Aseptic product: The rolled fibers allow for more controlled manufacturing, with lower moisture retention and improved hygienic performance, making them ideal for healthcare, hospitality, and home environments.

3. Applications
– Hospital and nursing home furnishings.
– Hotels and high-turnover accommodations.
– Mid to high-end home textiles.
– Technical products where stability and durability are required.

Rolled-fiber pillows combine technology, sustainability, and performance, offering a superior alternative to blown-fiber pillows.

Their durability, soft feel, and the option to manufacture them with recycled fibers make them an ideal product for customers seeking a longer lifespan, greater comfort, and environmental responsibility.

Our rolled-fiber pillow production lines can be directly integrated into existing nonwoven fabric production facilities based on carding and web forming. This allows manufacturers to take advantage of their existing infrastructure and make a much more efficient and cost-effective investment.

We also supply complete production lines, which include fiber opening and blending, carding, web forming, and the final pillow manufacturing module.

The production capacity of our lines depends on the upstream process equipment. We currently have operational installations in various factories that produce between 150 kg/h and 600 kg/h.

Pillows output per minute varies depending on the weight per unit area, product dimensions, and the capacity of the upstream equipment, as well as the output configuration (1 or 2 channels). Using a 500 g pillow measuring 50 cm in length as a reference, capacities range from 5 to 24 units per minute, equivalent to 300–1,440 units per hour. This is a modular and versatile line, designed to combine the manufacture of different products within the same process. These include: fillings for comforters, duvets, and other items… as well as the production of quilted products in general directly on the line, among other possibilities.
