The 2026 edition of the Recycling Expo in Brussels, held on June 23th and 24th, saw a threefold increase in the participation of international companies and specialists; PEYMARTEX SL was among the companies taking part in the event.

With over 30 years of experience in the textile recycling sector, PEYMARTEX SL attended to support the represented companies: BALKAN Textile Machinery (Turkey), a manufacturer of equipment for the mechanical recycling of industrial, pre-consumer, and post-consumer textile waste, and EMMEBI IMPIANTI Aerotextile Technology (Italy), a leader in industrial air treatment and a manufacturer of equipment for pre-filtration (fiber recuperation), filtration, and atmospheric conditioning across all industrial sectors.

We also welcomed the participation of several of our clients, who were present at the event showcasing their products made from recycled fibres, including a diverse and wide range of items: acoustic and thermal insulation panels, thermally insulated panels for the construction of display and decorative furniture, knitted garments, cleaning textiles, ready-to-wear clothing and home textiles, linings and uppers for footwear, yarns for weaving and knitting, etc.

The participation of 240 international companies, including exhibitors and specialists, reflects significant interest in the sector, with a 300 per cent increase in participation since the first edition held in 2025.

Against the backdrop of growing global awareness regarding the reuse, recycling and recovery of textile products, the sector is experiencing rapid growth and is one of the sectors most sought after for new investment.
